The Challenge:

Peopleplustech is in urgent need for Technical Recruiter for their Cebu Office. On this role, the technical recruiter will be responsible in sourcing, recruiting, and screening applicants for a variety of technical positions, including software engineers, system administrators, computer programmers, database administrators and non technical positions.


Source, interview, and select applicants for technical positions.
Meet with hiring managers to determine job duties.
Write job descriptions.
Match applicants to job openings.
Source for future job openings.
List job postings on job boards, social media, corporate career web sites, and other possible channels.
View applications.
Call applicants and perform phone screens.
Have applicants come in for formal interviews.
Instruct applicants on the nature of the job and whom they will be speaking with during the interview
Facilitate meeting between hiring manager and applicant.
Interview applicants.
Hand out and grade assessments.
Participate in final selection of applicant.
Create portfolio of possible candidates for hiring manager.
Check references.
Perform background checks on applicants and identify potential red flags.
Initiate drug tests and interpret results.
Inform candidate of company's decision.
Compose offer letters and negotiate salary and benefits.
Inform applicants not chosen of company's decision.
Keep track of all applications file away important notations such as gender, race, and ethnicity.
Travel to colleges for job fair activities
Forecast budgets for recruiting expenses.
Participate in implementing new recruiting technology, such as applicant tracking systems and screening tools.

Follow up and coordinate with recruitment channels.
Coordinate with team to develop and execute recruiting plans
Responsible for effective and fast recruitment processes both internally and externally; Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees.
Active use of recruitment tools: job flow – hire system.
Identifying potential areas of improvement
Managing daily information/candidate data tracking (using taleo).
Undertake further responsibilities that may evolve in the future
Responsible to Meet Client requirements in different fields (e.g Technical/ IT field, Customer care and Accounting and Finance).
Execute pre-screening and/or final phone/face to face interviews for junior & mid level posts & supports all parties in concern with assessment.

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or any related 4-year course.
Preferred knowledge in Computer and Information Technology
Average verbal and written English communication skills with demonstrated problem solving skills
Amenable to work in extended hours
Must be willing to work in IT Park, Lahug
